"So I'm an ex-muslim and I'm thinking of going back to Islam but I have some things that are stopping me from going back. I'm Palestinian Syrian so Arab, so there were a few things I feel like culture clashed a lot with the religion and one of the main reasons was that I identified what you call the alphabet community. So, that was one of the reasons and I felt like my family which was very very religious, kept like calling me really bad things..."

Peace be upon you dear readers, welcome back to our blog. Today we're addressing a topic that many may find challenging but one that deserves our attention and compassion. In today's world individuals often face complex dilemmas when navigating their faith and personal identity one such story is is that of Serene, a young woman who is navigating a complex journey. She was once a Muslim but left Islam to explore her LGBTQ identity. Now she's yearning to return to her faith but struggles with how to reconcile her Islamic beliefs with her being feeling bisexual.

Raised in the warmth of Islamic faith she found herself at odds with her identity as she discovered her feelings towards the same gender. A conflict arose, one that seemed insurmountable. The teachings of her faith seemed to clash with the desire of her heart. Confused and scared she decided to step away from her faith hoping to find solace and acceptance in the embrace of the LGBTQ  community but as she walked this new path, she found herself yearning for something she had left behind. The teachings and rituals of Islam which had been an integral part of her life echoed in her heart. A distant lullabi that lulled her to sleep, a familiar comfort she deeply missed. She wrestled with her beliefs and every step of the way she learned she finally made the decision to return to Islam but also want to keep up with the LGBTQ beliefs.

She questioned Muhammad Ali on Muslim Lantern YouTube channel and he explained her that Islam teaches us to love and respect all individuals regardless of their background or identity however the teachings of Islam are clear about certain behaviors including those related to LGBTQ issues. While Islam encourages compassion and understanding but it also emphasizes the importance of following the teachings outlined in the Quran and the Hadith. Supporting LGBTQ lifestyles goes against these teachings. He further explained her that returning to Islam is a journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth, it requires introspection, humility and a willingness to align your actions with the teachings of Islam. While it may be challenging, seeking guidance from knowledgeable Scholars and surrounding yourself with a supportive community can help you navigate this journey. As she found strength in her faith she ended the conversation with understanding that embracing Islam means embracing its teachings wholeheartedly. May she continue to seek knowledge and guidance and strive to live according to the principles of Islamic faith. (Ameen)

In conclusion this young woman's journey is a testament to the transformative power of faith. It's about the strength to question, the courage to seek and the wisdom to understand. A story that tells that whoever tries to find the right path, Allah helps them reach it as Allah says in the Quran,

"O my servants who have committed excesses against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah, indeed Allah will forgive all sins, indeed he is the all forgiving the all merciful"

and

"except those who repent attain faith and act righteously for such Allah will replace their misdeeds with good deeds and Allah is all forgiving all merciful"
